Lina Ekstrand has been working as an illustrator for almost two decades, with a wide range of different areas and techniques: live painting, porcelain pattern, textile design, editorial illustration, large scale window displays, repeat patterns, packaging, book covers and much more.
Having moved to London to study visual communication at London College of Printing she then did her Ba at The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, School of Design in Copenhagen. She now lives and works in the countryside in Southern Sweden, where nature is not so much a source of inspiration as a way of life, and her love for nature is the foundation on which she stands.
